Oregon Junior Golf is a membership based organization open to juniors between the age of 8 - 17 with either permanent or seasonal residence in Oregon or SW Washington. Memberships must be renewed annually and provide the following benefits and services.
Membership Information
There is no better way to keep informed with junior golf in our region than through our monthly, "Fun"damentals newsletter for members.
Most editions are provided electronically . However, to start and finish the season, we provide a physical mailing complete with member profiles, schedules, and program information.
Additionally, as a member you'll be first to hear about new events and any important communications sent out throughout the year.
Oregon Junior Golf represents the most avid junior golfers in the region and while we host over 60 events each year, we can only fit so many players on the course each day.
Our members receive priority entry over non-members and though this does not guarantee entry into all events, it is the best way to ensure you are at the top of the list.
Additionally, Oregon Junior Golf Members receive discounted entry into each of our events. By participating in just a couple of events, our members have
already saved more on entry fees than the cost of membership.
Oregon Junior Golf members save on golf lessons, receive free entry to professional golf tournaments, and receive a discount at many golf and sporting goods stores throughout our region.
We are always looking for new opportunities for members to save - if you have an idea, let us know and we'll be happy to look into it.
Oregon Junior Golf receives significant support from the Oregon Golf Association (OGA) and all of our members also receive complimentary membership to the OGA.
Licensed by the United States Golf Association as guardian of the game of golf for this region, the OGA promotes enhancement and expansion of the game of golf by protecting the game’s integrity and valued traditions, as well as promoting opportunities for all that want to play by leading in the development of member and information services.
Through their OGA Membership, all Oregon Junior Golf Members will be assigned a GHIN Number (if you have not already obtained one) to allow our members to establish a USGA Handicap Index.
