COMPETITION

MAJORS

All Majors are administered by Oregon Junior Golf staff and an amazing volunteer corps.

Majors are multiple day competitions run throughout the region and attract the best juniors golfers from the region.

These events fill very quickly so early registration is a must!

SANCTIONED

All Sanctioned Tournaments are run by the host facility.  Most are one-day competitions and are a great place for juniors to gain experience playing golf in a competitive environment.

Most events in and around Portland metro will end up with a waiting list and early registration is recommend.

QUALIFIERS

Qualifiers are events that provide a limited number of qualifying spots to a Championship that draws from a regional, national or international field.

Qualifiers often have eligibility requirements, for example, many will set a maximum USGA Handicap Index that players must meet to play.

Depending on the qualifier it may be administered by Oregon Junior Golf or by another organization.
